Henderson Sixth in Final HTF Series Points

(October 8, 2023) Over the October 6-7 weekend, the #2X team was in the pit area at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia for the 'Southern Showcase,' which was sanctioned by the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series. On Friday night in the $5,000 to win opener, John Henderson placed sixth in his heat race, fourth in his B-Main, and twenty-second in the final rundown of the 30-lap main event.

With a $23,000 paycheck up for grabs in the 'Southern Showcase' finale on Saturday evening, which wrapped up the points portion of the HTF tour, John finished sixth in his heat race, second in his B-Main, and twenty-third in the 60-lapper. When the final points were tallied, the North Augusta, South Carolina ace landed in the sixth spot in the standings. John Henderson Follows HTF Tour to Talladega

(October 1, 2023) John Henderson and TwoX Motorsports returned to racing action with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series in a pair of weekend battles at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama. With a $5,038 paycheck up for grabs at TST on Friday night, John finished eighth in his heat race, sixth in his B-Main, and sixteenth in the main event. In the weekend finale on Saturday evening, which boasted a $9,700 top prize, John ran seventh in his heat race, fifth in his B-Main, and seventeenth in the 40-lap headliner. Henderson Spends Labor Day Weekend in Peach State

(September 3, 2023) The TwoX Motorsports team spent their Labor Day weekend in the Peach State, as a pair of lucrative Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series battles were held at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia and Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia on September 1-2. On Friday night in a $10,000 to win showdown at Lavonia, John Henderson ran third in his loaded heat race prior to slipping to sixteenth in the final finishing order of the 50-lap headliner. In the $15,000 to win 'Rome Boss' on Saturday evening, John placed sixth in his heat race and later finished nineteenth at the checkers of the 50-lap main event. Pair of Top Tens for Henderson in Georgia!

(August 27, 2023) John Henderson headed to the Peach State on August 25-26 for a pair of Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series throwdowns. On Friday night at Needmore Speedway in Norman Park, Georgia, John finished seventh in his heat race prior to passing six competitors during the $5,000 to win feature on his way to a solid eighth place showing. At Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia on Saturday evening, a $5,400 winner's check was up for grabs in the annual 'Head Family Memorial.' John ran sixth in heat race action and later worked his way past nine cars during the 40-lapper en route to a seventh place performance. Henderson Busy in EAMS Double Shot

(August 20, 2023) The John Henderson Racing team returned to dirt-slinging action on August 18-19 at the historic East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama. On Friday night in a rain-postponed Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series show, John Henderson was involved in an incident during the B-Main and finished twelfth. After rolling off from the outside of the eleventh row in the $7,553 to win main event, John was able to pick off ten competitors during the 40-lapper to salvage a twelfth place showing. John Henderson Tackles $20,000 Deep Fried 75

(August 6, 2023) John Henderson and his #2X team rolled into Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on Saturday night, August 5 for the annual running of the 'Deep Fried 75.' This year's version of the contest was sanctioned by the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series and boasted a whopping $20,000 windfall. John stopped the clock nineteenth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session before running ninth in his heat race and tenth in his B-Main. After receiving a series provisional to gain access into the 75-lap main event, John was able to move past a handful of competitors to salvage a nineteenth place showing. (July 3, 2023) The TwoX Motorsports team ventured to Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia and Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee on July 1-2 for a pair of Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series showdowns. In Saturday's $10,000 to win program at Senoia, John Henderson placed fourth in his heat race before winding up eighteenth in the final rundown of the 50-lap headliner. (June 25, 2023) John Henderson followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series tour to Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, Mississippi on June 23-24 for a pair of $5,000 to win shootouts. On Friday night in the weekend opener, John placed seventh in his heat race, third in his B-Main, and sixteenth in the 40-lap feature event. In a similar contest on Saturday evening at Whynot, John ran fifth in his heat race prior to winning his consolation event and advancing up to finish ninth in the 40-lapper. Henderson Blasts to Top Five with HTF at Cochran!

(June 4, 2023) John Henderson Racing was back on the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series trail on Saturday, June 3 at Cochran Motor Speedway in Cochran, Georgia. John Henderson started the night off by laying down the seventh quickest time in Group B during the qualifying session before running fourth in heat race action. After rolling off from the inside of the eighth row in the $10,000 to win feature event, John was able to improve ten positions during the caution-plagued 50-lapper. Henderson Lands on Podium in $10k Governor's Cup!

(May 14, 2023) John Henderson and the TwoX Motorsports team were back in Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series action on May 12-13 in the annual 'Governor's Cup' at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. Following a rain-out on Friday evening, the second night of the doubleheader on Saturday went off without a hitch. On the rugged racing surface in the $10,000 to win throwdown, John stopped the clock second fastest in Group A during the time trial session prior to securing a victory in his loaded heat race. After starting from the pole position in the 25-lap headliner, John hung around the front of the field and eventually recorded an impressive third place podium performance behind only victor Josh Putnam and runner-up Joseph Joiner! John Henderson Nabs Top Five in Buck Simmons Memorial!

(April 23, 2023) TwoX Motorsports and driver John Henderson hit the road with the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series on April 21-22 in a pair of events in Georgia and South Carolina. On Friday night in the 'Buck Simmons Memorial' at Lavonia Speedway in Lavonia, Georgia, John earned Fast Time honors during the qualifying session and the pole position for the $7,500 to win headliner. The North Augusta, South Carolina ace then ran amongst the leaders throughout the 41-lap contest and eventually landed in the fifth finishing position behind only winner Benji Hicks, Brett Hamm, Brent Dixon, and David McCoy. At Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina on Saturday evening in the 'Stick Elliott Memorial,' John put on a wrong tire during qualifying and later retired early from the $5,000 to win feature in the twenty-first spot. Henderson Leads Early; Lands on Podium at Fayetteville!

(April 16, 2023) John Henderson Racing trekked to Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Saturday evening, April 15, as the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series presided over a $5,000 to win throwdown. John Henderson started off his night by posting the second fastest time of the 37 entrants during Super Late Model qualifying to earn the outside of the front row for the start of the 40-lap main event. John Henderson Kicks Off HTF Tour in Florida

(April 8, 2023) Next up on the racing calendar for the #2X team was a visit to All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Florida on Friday night, April 7. The Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series lid lifter - dubbed as the 'Southbound Throwdown' - drew a 40 car field to vie for the whopping $20,000 first place prize. John Henderson stopped the clock eighth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session prior to placing fifth in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main. After utilizing a provisional to gain access into the 50-lap headliner, John was unfortunately the first retiree in the contest and was paid for a twenty-eighth place performance. Henderson Caps Off Weekend with Cherokee Top Ten

(March 6, 2023) John Henderson Racing ventured to a trio of different dirt venues from March 3-5 for high-profile events. The tripleheader kicked off with a pair of $10,053 to win Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals Series showdowns at Swainsboro Raceway in Swainsboro, Georgia and Senoia Raceway in Senoia, Georgia. On Friday night at Swainsboro, John Henderson placed fifth in his heat race and second in his B-Main before an early wreck in the 53-lap feature dropped him to sixteenth in the final rundown. At Senoia on Saturday, John timed in fourth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session, but ultra-rough track conditions caused the #2X to load up and John scratched from the event.

The triple shot then concluded on Sunday afternoon with the 21st edition of 'March Madness' at the renowned Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney, South Carolina. John clicked off the seventh fastest lap in Group A during Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series (SAS) time trials prior to finishing sixth in heat race action. The North Augusta, South Carolina ace then improved eleven spots during the course of the $20,000 to win feature to leave Cherokee with a hard fought tenth place performance. (February 10, 2023) The penultimate event of the 47th edition of the 'Winternationals' attracted a standing-room-only crowd tonight at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. A total of 62 Super Late Model competitors piled into the pit area at the Tampa-area facility to do battle for the $12,000 first place prize money. John Henderson slipped to ninth in his loaded heat race and ultimately scratched from his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him out of the 50-lap headliner that was won by Hudson O'Neal.

(February 9, 2023) A $10,000 top prize was up for grabs in the fourth round of 'Winternationals' competition tonight at the track deemed as the "Clay by the Bay." To start things off in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series time trials at East Bay Raceway Park, John Henderson laid down the second quickest lap in Group A. After securing an impressive heat race triumph, John unfortunately suffered overheating woes near the halfway mark in the 40-lapper and was relegated to a disappointing twenty-fourth place effort.

(February 8, 2023) Night three of the 47th Annual 'Winternationals' at East Bay Raceway Park took center stage tonight in the Tampa area, as a $7,000 to win program was held for the ground-pounding Super Late Models. John Henderson was back behind the wheel of his #2X Warrior racecar, but unfortunately could not advance into the 40-lap main event after slipping to tenth in his heat race and opting to scratch from his consolation event.

(February 7, 2023) Round two of the 'Winternationals' took place earlier this evening at East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida. A total of 60 Super Late Model entrants signed into the "Clay by the Bay" and a $5,000 winner's check was on the line. Brandon Overton was once again behind the wheel of John Henderson's #2X machine tonight and knocked down the sixth fastest lap in Group B during Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series time trials. After securing another heat race triumph, Brandon steered the Warrior racecar to a second straight fourth place performance in the 30-lapper behind only race winner Ashton Winger, Hudson O'Neal, and Brandon Sheppard!

(February 6, 2023) The 47th edition of the 'Winternationals' kicked off tonight at East Bay Raceway Park, as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series sanctioned a $5,000 to win showdown. Brandon Overton piloted the TwoX Motorsports ride tonight at the "Clay by the Bay" and promptly timed in third quickest in Group A during qualifying before winning his heat race. Brandon then moved up to as high as second in the running order of the 30-lap feature before placing fourth at the checkers behind only victor Tyler Erb, Hudson O'Neal, and Tyler Millwood!

(February 5, 2023) John Henderson, of North Augusta, South Carolina, and his #2X team invaded Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, Georgia on Saturday, February 4 for the annual running of the 'Winter Freeze.' The Southern All Stars Series (SAS) presided over the single-day showdown and a $10,000 winner's check was up for grabs. John knocked down the fifth quickest lap in Group B during the qualifying session before finishing fifth in heat race action. After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the ninth row, John was able to steer past seven competitors during the contest on his way to a respectable eleventh place performance. John Henderson Kicks Off Season at Golden Isles

(January 28, 2023) The annual running of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' wrapped up in a big way tonight at Golden Isles Speedway, as a whopping $25,000 winner's check was on the line at the Brunswick, Georgia-area speedplant. John Henderson stopped the clock eighth quickest in Group B during the qualifying session and later grabbed the third and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race. After starting the 60-lap headliner from the outside of the eighth row, John was unfortunately caught up in an opening lap tangle and was forced to retire with damage to his #2X machine, which dropped him to a twenty-sixth place effort. (January 27, 2023) Night two of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' was held tonight at Golden Isles Speedway and the 51 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series competitors on the grounds at the Brunswick, Georgia-area facility were gunning for a $12,000 paycheck. John Henderson clicked off the sixth fastest lap in Group B during the qualifying session prior to placing fourth in both his heat race and his B-Main. Unfortunately both of those finishes narrowly kept the North Augusta, South Carolina driver out of the 50-lap main event that was eventually won in dramatic fashion by Kyle Larson.

(January 26, 2023) Following a short off-season, John Henderson Racing lifted the lid to their 2023 campaign earlier tonight in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series opener at Golden Isles Speedway near Brunswick, Georgia. The first round of the 'Super Bowl of Racing' drew 50 entrants to GIS to vie for the $10,000 first place prize money. John Henderson, of North Augusta, South Carolina, timed in twentieth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session before placing seventh in his stacked heat race and ninth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, John was unable to make the start in the 40-lap feature that was ultimately won by Brandon Overton.
